Leah Roseman, Violinist and Podcast Prodcuer anad Host.

I have been a member of the National Arts Centre Orchestra Canada since 1997. I am also very active as a teacher online and in Ottawa: Violin Lessons with Leah

Leah is a wonder! Her musical knowledge combined with her comprehensive research about her guests allows her to conduct conversations with special insight that digs below the surface and gets to the good stuff!! She is creating an invaluable resource about the creative process!
— Aaron Weinstein jazz violinist, mandolinist, arranger and writer
Leah Roseman is an amazing podcast host. Her heart dedication to connecting with musicians, her depth of understanding as a high-level musician herself, and her personal kindness and generosity, brought out the best in me. It was a very special experience to speak with her and to know that I was helping many musicians in the process. I highly recommend her podcast and am most grateful to have been included.
— Madeline Bruser Pianist  Author of The Art of Practicing
Leah’s Podcasts are as intelligent as they are entertaining. Leah’s questions are thoughtfully considered almost guaranteeing insightful answers. A really enjoyable series!

Leah Roseman’s podcast series, Conversations with Musicians, takes you into the personal musical world of a wide variety of super creative people. Having listened to and watched several episodes, as well as being interviewed by Leah myself, I marvel at how egoless Leah is (a world-class musician herself) and how she draws out the personality and thoughts of her guests and engages with them - mostly in conversation but also by doing a bit of music with them! If you’re interested in music or even just the creative process in general, do yourself a favour and check these podcasts out.

I had the opportunity to be one of Leah Roseman’s Conversations with Musicians’ featured guests early in the series. Leah was engaging and asked thoughtful questions, making it seem like a casual chat over coffee. As a listener, I look forward to hearing about the experiences and stories of her musical guests that come from widely diverse backgrounds. This podcast is a gem!

Conversations with Musicians is a fascinating peek under the hood of musicians’ careers and artistry, in dialogue with the show’s host, Leah Roseman. An accomplished violinist herself, Roseman is uniquely positioned to ask interesting and well-informed questions.    I had a great time doing my episode.

Leah, I should have mentioned that your style of interviewing is lovely. Kinda reminds me of listening in on a conversation between two people sitting beside each other on a journey. Disarming, insightful, prepared, curious, and interesting. As a fellow Canuck (Victoria BC here) let me say your politeness shines through.

This is a shout out to Leah Roseman and her wonderful podcast and video series Conversations with Musicians. There are not many occasions where you, as an artist, get to talk in depth about your art and your inspirations. Leah does a lot of research and her questions are a true challenge and inspiration. This is also what I experience as a listener, listening to some of the other interviews. This series is a true gem and a valuable resource with the wealth of knowledge shared. Check it out!
